ProNav Summer 2009 Map & Software Update

All new ProNav's from GPSA now come complete with the Summer 2009 Map and software Update.

As well as the latest map data from Navteq, the "Truck Data" on height, weight and with restrictions etc has also been updated to help HGV,s and large vehicles keep moving on suitable roads.

I read somewhere that 15% of all roads have some changes to them each year, so the latest map data is certainly important to making certain journeys are successful.

On the softwares side, Navevo have listened to customer comments and made some changes to the "Drive Screen" so that during navigation the map and turn symbols are larger and easier to see in the cab.



Initial reaction, such as this ProNav review by SatNavReviews.co.uk, have been very positive, so we think that the new screen will be liked by users.

I will be trying the new software over the next few days and will let you know what I find.
